Tyler Eng
Tyler Eng is a drummer born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a
consumate musician and sideman with a record that exemplifies his dedication and
loyalty to the artist with whom he is performing.
Tyler is currently playing with Chris Cain (Blue-Rockit Records) and has been his
drummer for the past eight years. He tours nationally and overseas with Cain's crack
four piece band.

1993 to 2008
Drummer for the late harmonica virtuoso Norton Buffalo (Blind Pig Records) of The
Steve Miller Band. A member of his band The Knockouts with national and
international touring as well as recording "King of the Highway" released on
Blind Pig Records - 2000
1984 to early 1990's
Drummer for The Greg Kihn Band.
Appeared on "Saturday Night Live," Dick Clark's "American Bandstand" and
"Solid Gold"
National touring and recorded two album releases on EMI America: "Citizen Kihn"
and "Love and Rock and Roll." Also "King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents Greg Kihn"
a live recording released on Rhino Records.
1979 to 1984
Drummer for The Elvin Bishop Band
Extensive national and international touring. Recorded "Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My
Baby," a European CD release.
1977 to 1979
Drummer for Charlie Musselwhite
Performed at national and international club and concert dates with a band that included
Tim Kaihatsu and Karl Severeid of the Robert Cray Band.
Tyler has also performed with:
Willie Nelson, Rick Danko and Levon Helm of The Band, Tower of Power,
Albert Collins, Big Mama Thornton, Lightnin' Hopkins, Bo Diddley, Jimmy Buffet,
The Oak Ridge Boys, Greg Allman and Dicky Betts of the Allman Brothers, Martha
Davis of the Motels, Joe Satriani, Roy Clark and countless others.
